Your recipe library
The Recipes tab is your full library: every recipe you've imported, scanned, or typed in. Here's how to find what you need and keep it tidy.
Sort and filter
Tap the filter icon in the header to choose how the list is ordered and what's shown:
- Sort by date added: newest first. Best for finding what you just imported.
- Sort by name: alphabetical.
- Quick and easy: only shows recipes with 30 minutes or less of total prep
- cook time.
- High protein: only shows recipes with at least 30g of protein per serving.
- Show archived: includes recipes you've archived.
Filters combine, so you can ask for "Quick and easy" and "High protein" at the same time.
Filter by collection
Tap the tag icon to filter by one or more collections. Selecting multiple collections shows any recipe in any of them (OR logic), not just the overlap.
Search
The dedicated Search tab searches across your whole account. Results match on recipe titles, ingredient names, and Box names. Tap a result to jump straight to it.
On iPhone, your recipes also appear in iOS Spotlight — swipe down on the home screen, type a recipe name or keyword, and tap the result to open the recipe directly. The index keeps itself in sync as you add, edit, and archive recipes; signing out clears it so recipes don't leak to the next user on a shared device.
Open a recipe
Tap any row to view a recipe's full details: hero image, prep and cook time, servings, nutrition, ingredients, and step-by-step instructions. For imported recipes, a small source pill shows the site favicon and domain near the top of the page. Tap it to open the original page. From there you can also launch Cook Mode, shop ingredients, share the recipe, or jump to the original source URL.
Edit, duplicate, or archive
From a recipe's detail screen, tap the more menu (•••) to:
- Edit: change the title, photo, ingredients, steps, times, or notes.
- Duplicate: make a copy under a new name. Useful for variations like "Mom's chili (vegetarian)".
- Add to Collections: tag the recipe.
- Go to source: open the original URL in your browser.
- Archive: hide the recipe from the main list without deleting it. Toggle Show archived in the filter menu to find it again, then Unarchive from the same menu.
Quick actions without opening a recipe
You don't have to open a recipe to act on it. From the Recipes list, long-press a recipe card (iPhone/Android) or right-click it (web) to pop up a quick menu with Add to Box, Add to Collection, Duplicate, Share, and Archive. A normal tap still opens the recipe. On iPhone the card lifts into a preview while the menu is open.
